ACRO CHAIR
The art of Acro Chair brings together the dynamic form of movement blends dancing, acrobatics, and tricks with a trusty chair as your partner.. Get ready to put your balance, body control, and precision to the test as you flow through tricks and movements that will leave you feeling strong and flexible. Whether you’re looking to discover yourself in a new way through dance, gymnastics, footwork, and acrobatics, or simply want to add some excitement to your fitness routine, Acro Chair is a surefire way to have fun while challenging your limits!
DO: Opt for form-fitting attire that allows for flexibility. Consider wearing leggings, booty shorts, or fishnets, which provide a combination of grips. For tops, it’s best to keep your shoulders covered, but most moves can still be executed without shoulder coverage. Choose between barefoot or heels, depending on the vibe and style you prefer.
DON’T: Wear any jewelry, zippers, garters with clips or metal, or anything that creates a big waistline across your hips. These can get in the way during your acro chair routine
PARTNER ACRO
Partner Acro is a dynamic form of acrobatics and dance that involves two people working together to create stunning aerial displays. Partner acro is all about trust, teamwork, and communication as you lift, balance, and support each other in mid-air. Whether you’re working on a ground-based trick or a high-flying acrobatic maneuver, partner acro requires a deep connection between partners and a commitment to each other’s safety and success.
From handstands and balances to flips and aerial lifts, the possibilities for creativity and expression in partner acro are virtually limitless. Whether you’re looking to build strength, flexibility, and coordination or simply want to enjoy a unique and exciting physical activity with a friend, partner acro is a fun and challenging discipline that will bring you and your partner closer together in every sense of the word.
DO: Wear form-fitting clothing that allows for ease of movement.
Choose fabrics that are breathable and stretchy, such as spandex, lycra, or cotton blends. Best to be barefoot. Depending on the moves require shorts instead of legging due to the fabric being slippery.
DON’T:
Wear loose or baggy clothing that can get caught on your partner or equipment.
Wear jewelry that dangles or anything that can scratch or damage your partner’s skin, such as zippers, buttons, or rough fabric.
Wear anything that can impede movement or visibility, such as hats, scarves, or sunglasses.
